Every piece is painted by hand, by me, with no AI.
Among the oldest people on earth, the Khoisan carry a memory that stretches back to the very beginning of humanity. In this painting, a Khoisan elder reaches beyond the horizon, not searching for something lost, but reclaiming something that was always his. The stars are not foreign to him. He named them first. This piece honors the San people of Southern Africa as the original seekers, the first to look up and ask why.
