About this painting:

The Dassanech woman uses her craftsmanship and resources to shape her existence and curate art, jewelry, and crowns. Each woman represents the Past, Present, and Future. The First Dassanech woman, the past woman, uses Nautilus, the oldest shell,  to curate her crown. She sets the tone and gives the blueprint for what's to come. The present woman utilizes bottle caps to create the most delicate hair jewelry. Her resourcefulness shapes the tribe as we know it today. The future Dassanech woman, one to be reckoned with, uses watches and gadgets to design the most intricate jewelry.
