Behind him the universe unfolds one planet at a time, each one blooming into being as he passes, drawn forward by his seeking. He is the planet seeker, the wanderer, the first of many, born of the oldest people Africa has ever known. To follow him is to know that Africa has always reached for the stars, and the stars have always answered.
