Pink Mercury - Metal print
She emerges from the void, slow and certain, half of her still belonging to the dark she came from, the other half opening wide into the heavens. Between her palms, Mercury turns in retrograde, that strange backward hour when time loosens its grip and everything we believed was forward begins to fold gently home. She is not unmade by it. She is made of it, woven from the same dark patience that birthed the stars. Painted and then printed on metal, this piece carries the cool gleam of something celestial, the way Africa's daughters have always carried the heavens beneath their skin. To look at her is to remember what we have always been, flesh and infinite at once, never separate, only one.
